I love how this turned out... this scan isn't the full picture....it doesn't quite fit in the scanner...but I wanted to scan it, not take a picture....it looks better in person...but that's always how it is lol....
This thing took me forever...2 day off and on...XP my signature sucks on here...but it was hard to do on this for some reason

I've never done acrylic before, although I own a set. Is it hard? I'm worried that it'll be a huge difference from water and oil paints. You did a wonderful job by the way! It's gorgeous!

It's not too bad....altho what I don't like about them is that they dry VERY quickly, so if your a slow person like moi, than sometimes you may run into some problems...example: with this painting I tried putting butterflies in the background..well *cough cough* they turned out horrible, It just ruined the whole picture, so I had to wait till it dried & basically repaint the background >__<''...I love watercolors for the simple fact that if you make a mistake with a color or something, you can quickly lift it up...not quite sure about Oils, on the fact I haven't had a chance to use them I do know that they take a while to dry...but then again acrylics drying quickly is great for others...*shrugs* Also, if you ever paint with acrylics be sure to wash all the paint out of your paintbrushes bristles... Acrylic is plastic, thus if you leave any in the brush it'll just K.O. your brush, there's really no way to fix them once they have turned into plastic. How I learned to wash them was to put a glob of soap into my hand then rub the bristles into the soap, it helps loosen the acrylic, once you feel it's all out, then rinse the brush, if you still see color coming out of the brush into the water, then keep on running it thru the water gently squeezing & sliding your fingers on the bristles, until all the color is done coming out....after that I like to slide the wet brush onto a soap bar, and let the soap dry on it, it helps keep the bristles like new...altho not necessary XD
Sorry if you already knew that...*laughs*
Thanks~ X3
